In the event that fires fill our sky with smoke, it's up to coaches to cancel practices (they still might want to meet otherwise) and the club to cancel games, always in the best interest of the health of our players.

 

The following explains our decision process for cancelling practices and games.

Visit the SpareTheAir website which has a map of the Sacramento area, illustrating air quality on an hourly basis.  From that link, click the drop-down "Pollutant" menu to view Particulate Matter, which in the case of smoke, will be the indicator to watch - then click GO and then ANIMATE!
