Teams are formed early to mid June.  

Our goal is to create fair and equitable teams, formed by geographic location for travel convenience and so players may play with others from the same school

BE ADVISED: Registering after May 31st means that players will be placed on which ever team needs players, regardless of location, and possibly even be placed on a waiting list if teams are full.

Coaches will contact you by the end of July.  Practice time/place/frequency is set by the coach (not by the club).


Uniforms ordered with online registration will be delivered to the coaches.

As of 6/1/16, uniforms must be ordered directly through Score Click HERE to order online.

UNIFORMS PURCHASED WITHIN 1 WEEK OF FIRST GAME,  $50

GAMES:

2017 will return to standard age grouping

U6, U8, U10 WILL BEGIN AUGUST 12, 2017

U12, U14, U16, U19 GAMES WILL BEGIN ON AUGUST 26, 2017

NOTE- All U12 and U14 teams will be scheduled for games by ARYSL (American River Youth Soccer League). This will allow the teams to be seeded and placed in appropriate level of competition, however, it does also mean that U12 and U14 teams will have 1/2 of their games at locations outside of Placerville, as far as into Folsom/Sacramento. Locations cannot be determined until after seeding occurs.  SEEDING TOURNAMENT:August 12, 2017


Request Policy
SGSC does not honor requests to play for a particular coach or team.
SGSC does honor requests to NOT play for a particular coach.
You may make Friend/Carpool requests, however SGSC does not guarantee we can honor these requests regardless of experience in previous years.

Team Formation Policy
The goal of team formation is to create fair and equitable teams.  Where possible, teams shall be formed by geographic location of the players for travel convenience and so players may play with kids from the same school.  Late registration players will be placed on which ever team needs players, regardless of location.

Age Groups
Please refer to the Age-Group Matrix to determine which Age-Group your child will play in.
 
Mixed Gender Teams
In accordance with CYSA guidelines as well as board member review and subsequent approval, the U7 age group is the only place where mixed gender teams might exist.  That means that from U8 and up, all teams will be formed as either all boys or all girls.

Bounced Check Policy
If your registration check is returned for Insufficient Funds, we cannot accept another personal check.  Two options are available: 1) cash or 2) Money Order.  In either case, you need to submit the original amount plus $10 to cover the bank fees that the club is charged.
 
Registration Refunds-Recreation Division Players
Prior to July 1st, refunds can be processed for a full refund.  As of July 1st, but prior to date of the first scheduled game, refunds will be minus $35 to cover costs incurred.  After the date of the first scheduled game, refunds are not available.  Click Here to request a refund.  NOTE:  Uniform fees are not refundable for distributed items - you keep the uniform.
 
Registration Refunds-Competitive Team Players
Prior to June 1st, refunds can be processed for a full refund.  After May 1st but prior to the first sanctioned game the team participates in, refunds will be minus $45 to cover costs incurred.  After the first sanctioned game played by the team, refunds are not available.  Click Here to request a refund.
